How much will my floor cost?
Every floor is different, so we price it after we see it. The estimate visit is free, and you get a written quote within 1 to 2 days.
Is there a minimum job size?
Yes, 300 square feet. A small job takes as many days as a big one.
When can you start?
It depends on the calendar. Call and we'll give you a real date. It goes in writing once you book.
How long does it take?
A refinish takes about five working days for 1,000 to 1,300 square feet. New installs depend on the size and the wood. [Typical install time to confirm]
Do you sand and finish new floors too?
Yes, when the wood is unfinished. We lay it, then sand, stain and finish it in place, so you pick the exact color. Prefinished boards arrive already coated and don't need sanding.
Is it dusty?
We use dust-free sanding equipment and clean up after ourselves every day. Still, no floor job is completely dust free, so expect a little dust.
Should I refinish or replace?
A solid hardwood floor can last a lifetime. It can be professionally sanded and refinished 5 to 7 times, so a worn floor often only needs a refinish. We'll tell you straight.
Can I buy my own material?
Yes. You can buy it, or we can supply it, and we bring samples when needed.
How do deposit and payment work?
50% of the labor is due up front to book your date, and the rest after the final walkthrough. If we supply the flooring, the material is paid in full up front. Check, Zelle, card or online payment.
Is there a warranty?
Two years on the finish. It's a floor your family, friends and pets walk on every day, so it has to hold up. Damage from accidents or misuse isn't covered.
